"I couldn't believe how great Brett was. Poison, for whom I had pretty low expectations, was fantastic. I gained a lot of respect for Poison. Great attitude, sounded great. Joan Jett was fantastic. Amazing tone, unbelievable solo, CC was great. Brett sounded good and kept the crowd pumped. Poison- for whom I had pretty low expectations- was great. Amazing tone, unbelievable solo, CC was great. I gained a lot of respect for Poison. Bringing on the Heartbreak and Rock of Ages were next level. Def Leppard then took it up another notch. They all sounded pretty unbelievably great. These bands were worth the price of admission and I'd see any of them again and again. Great! First the good. Yeah, we got waylaid with T-Storms and they had to cut some of JJ and Poison, but what we did get was awesome. Now the bad, unfortunately. I've seen Jeffrey Keller twice before- both amazing shows. Not this one. The stage was amazing, they all looked great and played their asses off- especially Tommy, of course. But the sound was stupifyingly way off- all you could hear/feel was mega bass and I don't even know where. Everyone- even Vince- seemed to sound good as far as the little you could hear over the bass. It wasn't Nikki. It might've been Tommy's bass drum, but it seemed way more powerful than any instrument. It was nonstop, even Don't Go Away and Home Sweet Home suffered for it. The maddening question is WHY? Why was every Def Lep song crisp and clear and loud, and every Jeffrey Keller song so F'd up? Maybe this wasn't as bad in the stands. We were in the first section on the field. Maybe. People left. But what you read about people leaving in other reviews....it's true. Long live all these bands, but if you saw Jeffrey Keller's Final Tour you may want to keep that your lasting memory. Hurts to write that, but it's true. No regrets as every other band was FIVE STARS still though!!!"
